This Payment Policy explains how payments are accepted and processed on CookCrock.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept payment methods supported through Shopify Payments. Depending on device, location, and eligibility at checkout, accepted payment methods may include major credit and debit cards and other payment options made available through Shopify Payments.

The payment methods displayed at checkout are the payment methods currently available for your order.

Payment Authorization and Verification

When you place an order, your payment may be subject to authorization, security screening, fraud prevention review, or verification by the payment processor or issuing bank. Orders will not be processed for shipment until payment has been successfully authorized or captured.

Currency and Checkout Charges

All order charges are presented clearly at checkout before you submit payment. We do not add hidden fees or optional charges after checkout. Customers are responsible for reviewing their order details, billing information, shipping address, and total amount before finalizing the transaction.

Taxes and Shipping Charges

Where applicable, any required tax amount will be displayed at checkout before payment is completed. We offer free standard shipping within our supported U.S. shipping area, so no standard shipping charge is added for eligible orders. We do not offer optional paid shipping upgrades such as express or overnight delivery.

Payment Process

To complete a purchase, customers must:

  1. Select the products they wish to purchase
  2. Provide shipping and billing information
  3. Choose one of the available payment methods shown at checkout
  4. Review the order summary and total amount
  5. Submit the payment for authorization and processing

Once the order is successfully placed, customers will receive an order confirmation to the email address submitted during checkout.

Failed, Declined, or Flagged Transactions

If a payment is declined, interrupted, or flagged for verification, the order may not be completed or may be delayed until authorization is confirmed. Customers should contact their card issuer or payment provider if they believe a transaction was incorrectly declined.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method. Refund timing may vary depending on the payment provider, issuing bank, or card network.

Order Cancellation and Payment Processing Charges

If a customer requests cancellation after payment processing has already begun, certain non-refundable third-party processing charges or banking charges may not be recoverable. These charges are imposed by payment processors or financial institutions and may not be returned to us as part of the transaction reversal.

Security

Payments submitted on our website are processed through secure payment technology made available by our checkout provider and payment processor. We do not ask customers to send full card numbers by email.
